05 · Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Yes, heritage roofing is one of our core specialisms. We work closely with conservation officers and use traditional materials and methods sympathetic to the original construction. Lime mortars, hand-sorted reclaimed tiles, hand-cut leadwork.
We cover the whole of Kent and the immediate border counties, including East Sussex and South London. Our team is based around Collier Street, so we reach most of the county within an hour.
Yes, we carry £2m public liability and employer’s liability cover. Happy to share the certificate before any work starts.
Of course, we’re happy to put you in touch with recent customers nearby so you can hear how the work went first-hand. We’re built on trust: a TrustATrader-vetted trader, CHAS-accredited and a Google Verified Business, with references and certificates available on request.
Larger or more complex roofs, including oast houses and listed buildings, can take 3–6 weeks. We give honest, fixed-fee timelines after the survey.
We handle non-licensed and notifiable non-licensed asbestos work. This covers most asbestos cement roofing sheets and gutters typically found on older outbuildings, garages, and agricultural barns.
